What Are Tribally Affilliated Nonprofits?

Tribally affiliated Nonprofits are charitable efforts incorporated by federally recognized Tribal Nations that have recieved 501 (c) (3) tax-exempt designation from the IRS.  Tribal Nations may have incorporated their charitable organizations under state law, as any other nonprofit is incorporated. Or similar to State government affiliated nonprofits, Tribal Nations may choose to incorporate a governmentally affiliated nonprofit under Tribal law. Listings are provided to encourage our visitors and members to educate themselves about, and support, Tribally Affiliated Native American Nonprofits.
