  • CNIGA 's Tribal Disaster Relief Fund was set up in immediate response to help Tribal members who sustained damages and losses of life during the Oct-Nov wildfire disaster in Southern California. Jacob Coin, then CNIGA Executive Director stated, "The fund's mission is to provide immediate temporary assistance to tribal members displaced by disasters."

Prairie Island Indian Community Makes 5-Year Charitable Commitment

Donates $125,000 to City of Kenyon, MN

Members of the 2003 Prairie Island Tribal Council including President Audrey Bennett, Treasurer Ramona Jones and Assistant Secretary/Treasurer Victoria Winfrey attended the ceremony and presented a check for $25,000 to Kenyon officials. Four additional payments of $25,000 will be made over the next four years.
